Various self-effort approaches or 'yogas' such as meditation and prayer, scriptural contemplations, studying the writings of various saints, energetic training, self-healing, life-style changes, (e.g. qigong, taichi, nutrition, coping techniques),as well as pastoral and ministerial services, courses and workshops.

• What is 'TRUE BAPTISM' or 'SHAKTIPAT' ? 
  A true Spirital Preceptor is capable of transmitting Grace and the awakening of the Holy Spirit (or Kundalini), through True Baptism, (or Shaktipat). Shaktipat or true Baptism is very precious, very sacred, and very rare, (even very rare within churches and current mainstream religions). This Grace-Bestowing Power of God gifts the devoted Seeker of God, (or Sadhaka, Prapanna) a natural, easeful and assured ascension home to Self-Realization, also known as God-Within, Samadhi, Moksha, Unity or Christ Consciousness. Self-effort, however, is still essential, with the teachings and guidance of the Spirirtual Preceptor.

• What is IBASI's Teaching Style? 
  Raja Yoga, Shaktipat Preparatory training, and other yoga & meditation spiritual disciplines are offered through the IBASI Ascension School programs and follow the traditional Asian Master-Disciple training, similar to the teaching style of Martial Arts and Shamanic student apprenticeships common to all ancient wisdom traditions around the world. Therefore, small Satsang groups and one-to-one spiritual preceptorship is the teaching style.

• Where is IBASI located?  
  IBASI is a non-profit corporation sole, incorporated through the state of Nevada. Satsangs and meditation classes are offered locally at Marina, California, U.S.A.(map, left), where Swami Nostrumananda is currently residing.
  
  Marina is a lovely seaside village right on the coast of Monterey Bay Area, south of San Jose and the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area and just north of the city of Monterey. Study groups, blogs and programs are also found online and the IBASI One-to-One Mentoring Program is both Distancer Learner and locally in Marina.

• Structured Training and Practice?
   IBASI is home for those who seek Self-Realization. The age-old, tried and try Master-Disciple relationship of seeking direct relationship with God-Within is supported by the Grace-bestowing power of True Baptism through a true Master Spiritual Teacher.  
  
  
• IBASI Healing Ministries trains licensed healthcare providers and those with aptitude from beginner to advanced adept-level energy/spiritual medicine in traditional Master-Disciple style. Advanced Disciples may be initiated as Masters and are Ordained as Healing Ministers. They may then practice their Ministry through their clinical practices through IBASI Healing Ministries.

• What are the Teachings & Doctrine of IBASI? 
  The central doctrine of IBASI and it's Healing Ministries are the teaching of Christian Mysticism and the Hindu Eternal Truths (Sanatana Dharma), that are common to all true religions and ancient wisdom traditions throughout all cultures and ages, since the dawn of mankind.
  
  IBASI Healing Ministries utilizes ancient lineage wisdom traditions taught by Siddha Master Teachers of Kashmir Shaivism, known as the "Map of Human Consciousness", the Christian Essene Gospels, and the secret teachings of the ancient Chinese system of Medical Qigong.
   
• The lives and teachings of Christian and Hindu Saints are also discussed and contemplated.  The process to Self-Realization and Liberation draw on current events, nature, modern medical science, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kabbala, the arts and contemporary life for anectodes, stories and examples of mystical and divine teachings that have been passed on to her by her own master teachers.
