Shaktipat - what to expect, how to prepare.

SPIRITUAL COLLEGE
The nice think about having a 'Graduate Student/Professor' around...
being the 'external guru/teacher', as the charismatic pastor or
minister or some other form of true spiritual teacher, is that
they have been through the training, have graduated with honors
and can help you achieve the same. In fact, at the very,
very end of the journey to God, where you are beyond ego, mental
constructs and subject-object being, you will totally rely on
your master teacher for 'completion', who will 'bring you in',
so to speak. 'Graduation', is actually not possible without your
true Master Teacher. Think about when you graduated from High School
or college. Remember the Dean or Head Master handed you your diploma?
Do you think that is an 'accident' or 'co-incidence'? No. This
'graduation initiation ritual' goes back to ancient times. Only as an
honestly earned 'gift', through initiation, does one receive graduation
INTO anything. As Graduation implies, there is a gradual process to
get there, with many skills to learn, profound insights to behold,
and many tests to master. It will only hurt you in the end if you cheat
your way through. All the same here for that 'Spiritual Diploma',lol.
This is because the 'final step' across the threshold to God,
is beyond your conscious will, since there is no 'you' left to take
this final action at that time. That's why it is okay at the
beginning, to 'shop around', explore different tachers, religions,
etc, but if and when one is ready to go the 'final stretch',
(at 5th Chakra level of Kundalini-Chakra Ascension), one settles down
with just one Guru/Master Teacher. One develops 'single-pointed' attention
& intention on the Guru/God-Within in the minds' eye and heart (spanda),
and allows themselves to be drawn in with complete confidence,
and in great peace & contentment.
Until then, there is teaching, correction, mentorship and Grace-filled,
safe, acceleration and catalysis in ones' development. The qualified Master
Teacher provides protection against misinformation, wrong ideas,
wrong action, spiritual and energetic misadventure or injury, and the lot.
So, the first step in preparing for Shaktipat is to ask God for your true
Master Teacher, and seek them out, and most importantly, recognize them.
He/She won't always be a white-bearded 'ol China-man or Indian Guru,
Christian Saint or even Jesus, but he/she IS the embodiment of Christ.
Approach them reverently as approaching holy communion, as this is what
it really is.
The job of preparing for Shaktipat is essentially 'purification'
work. You may use all kinds of healers, counselors and anti-toxin and vegitarian/fasting programs, and such. You may spend a fortune on
self-help books, spiritual retreats and workshops. None of these will
be fruitful until and unless you yourself surrender to God, heart and soul.
Until you essentially 'give up', discard all assumptions and
pre-conceived notions about how it works, feels and looks like, and allow
space in your life for all the changes that must come, ( mysterious and
illogical as they may seem at the time), you haven't even begun to open
the door to self-discovery and self-realization.
Like anything that's precious and rare, it's not free and the work is
not easy...the universe operates on a harmony and balance of give &
take of energy....keep that in mind here also. Nothing is for free
~ charities and non-profits expect donations or volunteerism in exchange
for free services, in order to not only help one to open ones' heart,
but to reach out and provide access to others on the same path.
'Help/give to yourself by helping/giving to others' is a very Christian
adage with very deep 'technical, laws-of-the-universe' meaning. A hint is that there is
no life without the give-and-take of 'circulation'. It is the same premise
for the power of 'call-and-response' in many religious chants. Think about it.
SPONTANEOUS??
The Born Again'ing / Shaktipat Diksha (initiation)/ Awakening of the
Holy-Spirit-Within happens by the pleasure and will of God. Generally,
the soul must be worthy, the body and mind must be pure enough to contain
this powerful, higher level energy without damage. Until then, better to
do self-effort in purifying yourself from 'bad karma' and 'samskaras'(akin
to mind-body debri from life-times of sinful thoughts & activities). There
are accounts of those who say it happened 'spontaneously', but what does
that really mean? A true master empowered with the gift of giving
Shaktipat (catalyzing the awakening in others) made this happen, as a channel
or sorts. How can such a one transmit this without the receiver knowing?
It can happen in 4 ways by the master teacher/spiritual preceptor, and is
not limited by matter, energy, time nor space:
1. by mental intention
2. by touch
3. by sight
4. through an object such as a leaf, book or audiovisual media.
It is the teachings of my lineages (Essenes, Hinduism which includes Buddhism,
Taoism, Kashmir Shaivism; and the teachings of ancient chinese medical
qigong, also lineage..all mostly very secret), that the Holy Spirit through
the power of Grace must be trasmitted by God through an 'Intermediary'.
This is called an initiation, baptism, or Shaktipat Diksha. There is a grand
heirarchy of divine beings..and thus it is so, those that are 'intermediaries'
have their jobs to do also, and as one of them, so do I.
The awareness of the awakening may be very subtle, or profound. It
often is felt days, weeks or months after the initation, but could
be felt at the time of initiation also...So don't assume anything about
what to expect to feel or experience along the way back home to God.
Something may be happening to the person next to you..big bangs and whistles
and woo-hoo's...but maybe not so much or anything noticable for you. Don't
judge that & don't dispare! Stay open..there is a very good reason for
everything that occurs in this universe. It's just that you don't know
about it yet, and one day you will. Trust, that when you give yourself
up completely into the hands of God, that you are supported, held
close and protected every moment and as close to God as your very
own breath, even if you can't tell by the ego-mind. Trust this.
Trust that every moment is Justice unfolding...even though you
don't understand, yet.
For now, understand THERE IS A TIME LAG, often times...depending on
the impurity of the Human being initiated. Depending on the
configuration of the impurities ( which you did all to your own sweet
self over countless lifetimes), things will play out uniquely
different for you vs everyone else. Even so, after many, many
documentations and oral testimonies of saints and their own
paths to enlightenment...we have a pretty good idea or what
usually happens at certain stages of psycho-spiritual development,
i.e. Chakra Ascension. This is good for you all to know. This is what

So, who is to say, in the quantum universe where time and space
are basically illusions and can easily be manipulated by Siddha
Masters (self-realized holy beings), that you were not 'zapped' Shaktipat
already but didn't know it until later, or perhaps don't at all? You may
never know who zapped you or how. It could have been through your TV or
music CD!. They may reveal themselves only in a vision or dream. It could
have been in a previous life or by a holy-being no longer in body at
this time..like Jesus Christ or any other gifted 'Saint-in-Christ' from
any other true religion. So 'spontaneous' awakening must be understood
with these correct ideas in mind: the nature and circumstances it
may happen under, the current energetic anatomy and physiology status
of a spirit-in-a-body, and the purity of that 'package' to be able to
carry this awesome power & run it through its' system.
TRUST AND PATIENCE
The waking human mind is a feable and vain instrument..full of vices,
ignorance and prejudices...and is scripturally 'asleep'. The master
teachers' mind is truly 'awake'. How can an asleep mind really know
what's going on? Can you get through college asleep? All a minds' ideas,
taught by society, about the nature of the universe, what is success, etc.,
is ultimately and essentially wrong..completely opposite.
The job of the master teacher is to have the PATIENCE to teach and
correct...to make the old ego-mind re-identify itself correctly, and reveal
the true Self always there in his/her Disciple. This should be received
in gratitude by the beginner student, but often is not, as change and
discipline is very difficult at the beginning.
So, have faith, trust and persevere. Ask good questions and meditate.
As one of my master teachers, Sifu WeiTzuei said, 'step by step
- you will get there'. I believed him, and I did. The job of the student
and disciple is to TRUST the teacher with his/her guidance and instruction.
The external teacher is like the flame that ignites the pilot light in the
neophyte.....and is like the training wheels of a bike. Necessary at first,
and at 7th chakra/self-realization, let go of. At that time, the student
recognizes God within All, and becomes the Guru/God. With that direct divine
embodiment, he/she continues to mature, grow and continue Gods' work.
TO SHAKTIPAT OR NOT?
My dear one, the greatest achievement for any Soul is to receive
Shaktipat. Call it spontaneous or not, through a ritual or not! To
receive several or many infusions of these mega-transmissions of 'God-
Juice' is wonderful..the more the merrier! Just don't expect life to
stay the same for too long...as with each chakra level ascension,
there is 'death and rebirth' in its' infinite ways.
GUIDANCE
Chakra Ascension here at IBASI Healing Ministries under my tutorledge
is like going back to college..going for the Ph.D. It takes smarts,
financing, dedication and perserverence. Its one-to-one...so there is
on-line group support and fellowship, as well as requirements for in
person visits to me. The point is, find a teacher you trust and be
prepared for work & sacrifice. Some paths are easier than others,
however , they are also a lot longer, usually life-times. My experience
was 'fast-track' through Laya Yoga, (i.e. Raja Yoga/Siddha Yoga),
using intelligence and intention/focus primarily, but also hatha yoga and
mantras, bakti yoga/devotionals.
I also studied with masters in the healing arts. I received many
initiations from several master teachers, and chose one and only one for
my completion. You could do the same or stick with one all the way.
At the very end of the process, the sadhna becomes monastic level, and
with pin-point single devotion to only one true master teacher. The whole
process of ascension could take a few years, decades or usually, lifetimes.
Having the Grace of the Guru within a physical Master Teacher speeds up the process
and shortens it by many lifetimes. My own Shaktipat Master said it would take
4-9 lifetimes, yet it happened within my present one!
We know from Christian mysticism that it is the natural order of the cosmos
that all Souls eventually return home to their Maker, the OverSoul/God. That
turning point is Shaktipat. It is a glorious moment in ones personal Soul history!
It is Salvation. One is already saved when it is received. Deep inside, you
probably already get the 'gist' that 'something' is missing; that your 'real'
self is something much greater; limitless and amazing, that you are still, somehow,
'incomplete'. You can not see the face of God, can not feel His presence, perhaps
not even any energy like Reiki, etc.
Know this: the 'resurrection' and the 'second coming' of Christ Consciousness
is personal, it happens within. It happens gradually, and there is a 'graduation'.
To take that one moment in life to intellectually and emotionally give yourself
up, your Soul, to God, to let the 'true owner' take over the reigns of your
life, to show you the way, is how the journey to Shaktipat, or True Baptism starts.
Then the magic and miracles begin.
