Question from Voltec:

"Can you tell me how to open up my Sushumna and awaken Kundalini? I am told this is what needs to happen for the journey to Self-Realization to begin. What does it take to make this happen?"

***********************************************************

Greetings Voltec,

In an nutshell, that is what Shaktipat (True Baptism) inititation does. Without the awakening of Kundalini by a 'Shaktiapt Guru' or equivalent, any personal efforts to force activation of the Kunadlini is ill advised and dangerous. Even with good hatha yoga technique, or
qigong technique, for example, one was able to awaken Kundalini through intense effort, this intense effort would have to be sustained continuously or it would go dormant again. The other problem with this artifical way is that one can get into all sorts of medical problems,
from body pain, body dysfunction to psychiatric problems like insanity. There is more on this topic in the ARCHIVES.

Just like seeking an Acupuncturist Doctor for an illness,(Acupuncturist work with energy points, channels and 'seas'), the Guru in your Master Teacher/Pastor/Minister/Cleric, etc, is the Doctor of Human Suffering, (they also work on the energy body). The grace-bestowing power of the Guru is the
salvation of the ignorant, and only the worthy receive this grace-bestowing power...starting with Shaktipat, or True Baptism/Awakening.

It is one thing to ask about the energetic technicalities of exactly what the anatomy and physiology of the Sushumna is and how it is related to the path of self-realization. To actually activate the Kundalini through the manipulation of these energy channels is definitely something else, and you yourself can not be told or read up
on how to do it on line or anywhere else, to do it yourself.

You must do the work, Voltec, there is no free, cheap, easy way to find God and relieve suffering for yourself or others. You must start by going within, learning how to do good meditation, call upon God, ask Him the right questions, do the reading of teachings and scripture, contemplate, do the mental disciplines, face your fears and vices honestly, follow the correct ways to think and behave, find your Guru and offer yourself completely to the commitment to concentrate and work to earn Shaktipat. You will have to give up everything that is precious to you along the way. It may happen in days, in years or life-times. There is no other way. Do it the right
way.

The updated website is up now, I advise you to visit www.ibasi.org and go to the ARCHIVES page and download the writings on "I want Shaktipat and I want it now!", and also "A Worthy Student and Good Disciple". Learn the proper attitude and what others did to fail or succeed in
moving closer to self-realization. There is also a great book called "The Play of Consciousness" by Swami Muktananda, who is also my Guru in spirit and through whom I achieved Maha Samadhi and the state of Nirvana (Niranjana). Read this and learn what it takes to just find
your teacher, and what it takes to comprehend and master Knowlege. Its not easy. Even with Shaktipat, the journey is tough and requires alot of dedication, sacrifice and work.

When I say in my writings that with Shaktipat and the awakened Kundalini and the guidance of the Guru, that the Ascension process is natural and easeful, I am refering to the physiological, emotional and mental changes happening spontaneously, or automatically without your
own personal ego-effort...one is carried along on this awesome, transformative current whether they like it or not, want it or not. So read this and learn what it is that you think you want first. You can find lots of Christian Saint writings also, they all talk of the same
thing, esentially, the same process, the same expereinces, the same milestones that mark the ascent.

In any case, reading or being told by someone something is nice for the ego-mind
to feel in control and not be afraid, but the real changes occur with
actual work in connection with your Master Teacher, (see "what is a Guru" and read about Shaktipat for a better understanding of this relationship and what 'guru' really means, since the common understanding is wrong), called the yogas or spiritual practice disciplines, so
you wont get that anywhere but through a personal relationship with God through a Teacher. So the first job is to find your teacher and have him/her accept you as a student. You will have to prove yourself to him/her, too many are not serious or are not worthy. Worthiness is
a scriptural term. Remember that there are several languages involved here, there is scriptural or holy, which is archytepal and symbolic, because it speaks of the ineffible with is indescribable, there is also scientific or technical, and the english language is probably one
of the worse, confusing languages to teach in, which doesnt help here.

So, this interest group is a Portal of Entry to the real thing. Here, you learn what it takes to START, to be accepted into training. To actaully START with me, you must contact me and make arrangements for admission and registration, just like a college. Everyone wants
pleasure and no suffering in life, but very few in this world are willing to do what it takes to really reach that place in personal growth and maturity to true mastery of this desire. If you want to learn something here, if you want transformational experiences, great knowledge and wisdom and amazing mystical expereinces, miracles
etc...you will want to offer alot more self-effort and prove yourself ready and capable.

IBASI Healing Ministries and Ascension College really is like a monastery and college. The program is like going for a Masters and Ph.D. degree. The coursework and realtionship with the mentor is like pressing the stone into a diamond, like constantly washing a dirty cloth in a fresh stream of water. It requires at the very least, that amount of COST, COMMITMENT and CONCENTRATION/ mental discipline required to get a Ph.D. We can call these the
3 C's. I am willing to extend my time and patience only with those who are qualified with the 3C's, who have a fluent command of the English language and pefereably have a background and aptitude not only in reading/comprehension of poetry, mythology and scripture, but also in the biological and physical sciences, since these are the 2 types of 'technical language' or lexicons we use here to explain things. An intelligent, clear sharp mind trained in these areas is more likely to have the skills needed to grasp the teachings of the
saints and holy ones.

Consider all this carefully and honestly with yourself. Are you willing to change your life radically and make the sacrifices necessary? Do you have the resources? Is your life-situation amenable to this? Or is work, lack of resources; educational, physical or mental health or behavioral issues; family obligations and other worldly issues blocking your way?

When none of these are issues anymore, THEN you are ready for me here. This is the straight and narrow path here, Dear Ones.

Blessings~
