The hidden caveat of mind-ego

Dear Ahmed, IBASI Students & Friends ~
Thank you for your inquiry...it's nice to hear from our members
here, and while I am here.. a Warm Welcome to all our recent new-
comers...
So... the age old question / request to have a master teacher open
up psychic powers for their students... or provide a quick, short
and preferably scott-free self-help manual of directions, hmmm?
Here is the 'straight-up' on developing psychic powers: all the true
and great teachers say that it's
#1 extremely dangerous to open up these powers before a persons
time.
#2 ill advised to force open by oneself.
#3 that the degree of psychic power has no correlation to
spiritual 'purity' or one's stage of ascension to self-realization/
moksha.
#4 that these 'inner sensory organs' are the greatest tools of the
ego personality in entrapping a spirit into the mundane world..and
therefore..
#5 when desired as a goal, (or desired in any way, actually), is a
source of theft of True Knowledge, and anyone displaying, teaching
or enticing students to him/her with promises of ataining psychic
powers for its own worth... is also a trickster and theif of Truth.
Now...if you 'doth protest too much' on these points...then leave.
My master teachers and I don't pour water onto hot
stones...However..if you are earnest in embodying correct
understandings..then let's talk some more after you read and
contemplate the relevant articles archived in www.ibasi.org, in the
ARCHIVE page accessed through the COMMUNITY CENTER page. In short ~
the path to enlightment is what we are about here. This means to
essentially reprogram or 'destroy' the lower-ego which is built on
memories of pleasure/pain, desires, attachments and cravings for
external control/ pleasure, etc...The lower-ego self-perpetuates
through the bodies sense organs to attach to this worldiness..the
veil that hides the true Self. The inner sense organs, aka psychic
abilities are nothing else but even more potent sense organs for
entrapping self-identity / ego with the wrong idea of what Self is..
causing it to be sooooo very stuck it can cause a soul to be stuck
in lower energetic planes of existence for a very very looonnng
time. So, since we here are not interested in diversions and
distractions from the direct business of ascension, purposefully
going and grabbing for psychic powers is a no-no. Much the same case
for healing powers...sooner or later, we all hit the spiritual brick
wall/ glass ceiling. Why? Because at Chakra Level #5, the Throat,
our spiritual lesson is to give up ALL self-identifying labels,
names and descriptives in order to merge with the Absolute.If we are
stuck in pridefulness, solipsism, self grandizment, ( and the ego is
very sneaky..our rationalizations about 'doing for good of others',
etc is balony most of the time...a cover-up for lower-ego to
perpetuate external control out of its own fears and self-
doubts..),we won't be able to advance and continue to open up. This
is especially so when psychic powers are force open before the
person is ready (at which time it happens without effort or
strategy). This situation is indeed like living in hell on earth.
Sooo, you all are welcome to contemplate this and ask questions to
yourself during meditation...and share your experiences, discoveries
& truth here :)

Dear all
This is my first participation in this group , and I
hope it is the beginning
of good relationship with it .
Well , I do have a well known question , but it comes
from the fact that I
do have access only to the psychic books which
everybody knows . these
books are for everybody , for all . So many questions
would be posed after
reading them !
I am working on clearing my chakras , hatha yoga ,
certain diet and developing
psychic powers . Many of us know that the last one is
the most advanced one .
The one which interests me most is opening my third
eye . that power is really
beneficial . everybody knows that .
Now , I read about the techniques , nothing worked .
especially that I am not
completely , chakrally speaking , cleaned and cleared
.
I have heard about some chemical solutions which are
put into water and one
see them and observe the kinetics and random motion in
the glass of water , which
after many hours of practicing , it change the
mechanism of the eye , resulting to
some degree of being able to see the aura , and other
benefits.
So , would you know where can these solutions ordered
online from ?
That interests me a lot .
