Commentary: Resistance is Futile
Surrendering to the Divine

I have noticed much inner mental conflict amongst many of you with your sadhanas (sanskrit for spiritual practice), so this is a good topic as it is the root cause of so many students lack of progress on the path. How can your Center of Self be found if there is inner thoughts that still negotiate conditions with it? Arguing, negotiating, intellectualizing, challenging, questioning, setting conditions with God does not work! Ego is not on the 'how to find God list' ! Surrender those thoughts, compulsions, doubts and fears.
Resisting the very thing that you wish to discover, the true and essential nature of your being, is futile and makes no sense, no? At best, it will keep one busy and in the same spot they are now, running in circles. Such is the karmic wheel of life, (after life, after life!).
Solomae Sananda, a master spiritual teacher, says: "Doubt arises because there is division within. Doubt can only take you backward, never forward. You will never experience what you doubt. Doubt is based in fear, not love. To be undivided, one must counter doubt with resolve and use the power of love to move forward, rendering doubt powerless."
Stepping out of the workings of the mind can only be done with the mirror of someone already 'there'. Trust your guide, your master teacher, your inner-guru, listen to them, follow their instructions, offer them your love, commitment and devotion, offer seva (selfless service), offer yourself completely....as you are offering to God within you.
Do not waste your master teachers time, nor yours, if sincerity, trust and true commitment is not there; the teachers deserve more respect than this - and I speak for all master spiritual teachers on this. Their only mission is to lift you to their own awareness, out of love and compassion for you - but only those worthy students deserving it by sincere self-effort and wholehearted commitment to the path will benefit.
Dear Ones, ascension groups are not a social club or a spectator sport - this path requires much more of the 'inner you' than you can ever imagine, and the fruits will surely manifest...peace, tranquility, love, generosity, abundance, kindness, inspiration, discovery, self-healing, miracles and unity with the divine. Find your inner courage and resolve, make the commitment to love, cherish and worship the True-Source guidance that presents itself to you in your life every moment as Grace. Choose Faith over doubt to steer you, choose Integrity and Honor to lift your sails, and choose Love and Compassion over judging and negativity as your destination across the ocean. Trust and courage will surely follow.
