IBASI is a HEALING MINISTRY
The International Bioenergetic Arts & Sciences Institute, (IBASI) ~ Healing Ministries ~ is dedicated to the spiritual needs of those sincere seekers ‘unfolding’ on the path of God-Realization, and to the education, research and charitable works of Spiritual Medicine and it’s integration into mainstream society for the removal of suffering and upliftment of all humanity. The Spiritual Head of IBASI is (Sadhu) Rev. Dr. Devi Nostrum, a self-realized Shaktipat Spiritual Teacher of the Kashmiri Shaivite tradition, the Path of the Siddhas.

IBASI first came into being in 1997 as the East-West Integrative Medicine consulting firm of Dr. Natalia Egorov, Pharm.D. Dr. Egorov was a licensed practicing Pharmacist and Acupuncture student at the time, who originally envisioned this organization to be an instrument for helping organizational leaders and healthcare policy makers bring Energy Medicine to mainstream healthcare. Much work was done and many things were accomplished, especially in the world of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, both in the state of California and nationally.
However, her ongoing quest for the ’Truth’ about the ‘root causes’ of the failing modern America healthcare system, led her to deeply explore the true meanings and sources of societies chronic state of ‘stress‘, ‘illness‘, ‘disease‘,and the illusive pursuit of ‘health’ and ‘well-being‘. She pondered more cosmological questions like ‘What is the source and nature of established ‘happiness‘, ‘love‘, ‘peace’ and ‘contentment‘". She was drawn closer to seemingly polar opposites of chinese & western medical theory, quantum theory, psychology and spirituality.
This quest became more and more personal. She started practicing Qigong, followed so called ‘Qigong Masters’ and ‘Clariyvancy Teachers‘, read all the self-help modern Guru books, spent a fortune on Psychics and esoteric paraphenalia, did mantras, breathing exercises, meditated; studied Chinese medicine, the energetic meanings of stones, tarot, I-Ching etc.., even became a Reiki Master, but something was still missing. She could feel the ’Qi’, make it move around, even feel its rush through the body. She was starting to become intuitive and even psychic herself, but still felt ‘unawakened’, running in endless circles of negativity, stress and fears based on the past, and anxious conjectures about the future, completely internally self-unaware, frustrated, completely dependent on her Psychic allies, with seemingly no salvation in sight. One day, resigning to it all, she said "I give up! Help! Where is God, where is my True Master Spiritual Teacher, who can help me answer all these questions and show me how to find meaning for this empty life, get rid of this endless, vicious cycle of torment, anguish and misery!?"
Soon after, towards the end of 1999 and the millenium, she found her True Spiritual Master Teacher , Swami Chidvilasananda of the Siddha Yoga tradition of Kashmir Shaivism, and received ‘Shaktipat’, the awakening of Grace Within, Shakti Kundalini, or the Holy Ghost. Since then, Dr. Egorov experienced a continually faster and wilder roller coaster ride of spiritual and life events. Everything dropped away and changed, even her name, and East-West Integrative Medicine became IBASI, the International Bioenergetic Arts & Sciences Institute. Spiritual ‘unfolding’ progressed even more rapidly and with greater commitment to God, more sacrifices and effort. In 2002 Dr. Egorov, now renamed Devi Nostrum, (a name given to her in a vision during intense, deep meditation with her Guru), became an Ordained Minister through another Master Spiritual Teacher, Solomae Sananda (ordained through the Essene Order), of the Living Spirit Church. Devi became a devout follower of (Bishop) Solomae Sananda and also remains a faithful disciple of Swami Chidvilasananda, or Gurumayi of the Siddha Yoga Lineage and Saravati Order of Kashmir Shaivism.
In October, 2002, Devi had a profoundly mystical union with God and experienced ‘samadhi’, the merging into the Absolute, also known as ‘Seeing the Face of God’, or Self-Realization. One of the subsequent changes to IBASI due to the finalizing of the samadhi process (it is actually a prolonged, ongoing process), was the realization that now is the time to move IBASI more true-north to itself, i.e., the Healing Ministry, and that Devi Nostrum is now a Sadhu, or Monk. So the organization has been renamed "IBASI Healing Ministries" and IBASI still means the "International Bioenergetic Arts & Sciences Institute", recognizing that we are all at different levels of God-consciousness and therefore need a repertoire of different and unique combinations of approaches on our paths to healing and self-realization, which may include the arts, the sciences and of-course, Divine Spirit.
