Part 1. Introduction
The Correct Approach is Everything. Assume Nothing.
Have you ever pondered as to why the Christian terms of ‘Stairway to Heaven’, or ‘The Ladder of God’ indicate pre-defined stages or steps are involved? Do you have a sneaking suspicion that the Chinese ‘5 Elements’, the Hindu ‘7 Chakras’, the Lotus Petals of Buddhism, the Islamic ‘7 Virgins of Heaven’, the Kabbalic ‘Tree of Life’ and even Maslow’s ‘Hierarchy of Needs’ are all talking about the same thing as the ‘Stairway to Heaven’, but from different angles?
Just as an ancient temple pillar can be perceived as a cross-section or from afar, so can the path to self-realization. They say ‘there are many paths to God’. In fact, there is only one tried and true path. It has been completed thousands of times, producing thousands of saints. The protocol, or formula, and it’s milestones, have been documented by all manner of saints, avatars, prophets and holy beings, through all times and cultures. These saints are a testament to The Light and the Way, veiled as the ‘many ways’ by the uninitiated.
How can this be? It sounds contradictory, like a paradox. It makes no sense. And herein lies the wisdom of the first set of ‘hand-me-down’ Sutras: the Sutras of Right Approach:

1.1 Forgo your preconceived notions as to how things are.
1.2 Become a Warrior-Sleuth who seeks Divine Nostrum;
bestower of Peace, Love and the Knowledge of Liberty.
1.3 Approach is everything. Assume nothing.
1.4 Embark on your new adventure as a Lion;
content with uncertainty, and promise of glory.
1.5 Seek out the clues all around and within you
that reveal that which is ‘Not This, Not That‘.
1.6 Surrender attachments and favor compassionate
Discernment; forgive those who can not.
1.7 Tear away from your pedestrian garb, and
1.8 Adorn yourself with the Jewels of Virtue.
1.9 Revel in, and gleefully accept Gods’ language.
2.1 He sings to you unceasingly as Chaos,
Paradox and Changing Paradigms.
2.2 His instrument but a single
Golden Thread.
Correct approach is everything. Part (1) is about the correct approach to receiving useful knowledge and wisdom about the Chakra System’. Most of you would ask ‘What possible new and useful information would one more so called ‘Spiritual Preceptor’ hope to illuminate for spiritual seekers who seek salvation and completion? That’s a very good question! The Sutras above say, ‘Approach is everything, Assume Nothing’. So first, we must come to trust the authenticity of the source. We know that this is a treacherous task. You can’t believe everything that everyone says, right? Only the Self-Realized with a God given dharma (Sanskrit: purpose/mission in life) to lead other souls to God are true, direct sources of the wisdom and power of Grace, (Sanskrit: Shakti), the Revealing Power of true Knowledge. According to a lot of spiritual seekers such as yourself, the world is apparently full of false prophets and abusive Guru’s (Hindu Shaktipat Masters ), and Sifu’s, (Chinese Monk Masters of the Inner Martial Arts)?
So, we must first establish the claimed authenticity of a Spiritual Master Teacher before believing what they say about the Chakra System, for example. How doe we know that a person has reached true Knowledge of Self? Well, we can’t tell by looking at them or their environment, nor their behavior, or what a healer or New-Age practitioner ‘reads’ about them. Not even by way of his own students or disciples. It is by way of 2 accomplishments, each out of your reach. First, One has empirically experienced the entire ‘Stairway to Heaven‘,( i.e., Chakra Ascension), has passed the doorway, or threshold to God, and is stabilized and integrated completely with God. The Soul has merged with the Oversoul, yet the One still lives! This One is free to ‘roam up and down the stairs’ whilst now permanently in Heaven.
Secondly, One, not knowing of this accomplishment, has been actually informed as such by at least One other who also rests in Heaven whilst free to ‘roam the stairs‘. And what gives them the right to ’certify’ such a One? They were also informed by such a One, who had guided and informed them, and so on. As the Disciple becomes the Master, a reliable, trustworthy line of succession is sustained, and can often be traced back over millennia; a vast complex family tree of saints who are all the ineffable One.
Lineages have been ’broken‘ due to socio-political power struggles, or the workings of Mother Nature. Inevitably, the One re-emerges as a bobbing cork upon the turbulent seas of humanity‘s passage. These are known as Avatars, those born enlightened. In such a case other living saints ‘certify’ the Avatar, and a lineage begins anew. So, it is through just such Avatar lineages, ( Sw. Nityananada, the Christ Jesus, Ammachi), that the author as been called to dispense precisely measured wisdom. May the lineage initiations, divine anointments, memories and sequalae of direct revelations, mystical experiences, and power of Grace, (Shakti), make it so.
So, back to Chakras. We all have a plethora of information about Chakras at our finger tips. Be it from surfing the web, in books at national chains like Borders and Barnes & Noble. Ask any Yoga Instructor or New-Age practitioner, (tarot readers, psychics, healers). They have all read and been told the same things, and they pass it on as second-hand information. Very few have first hand-experience or lucidity of their own point in their Chakra Ascension journey. Very rare as those who have completed the 7 Chakra Levels and are fully stabilized and integrated enough from there, and able to catalyze others’ ascension. Here, you will learn from first-hand account. as best as I can share it.
We are examining the patterns of cognitive, behavioral and affective aspects of Chakra Ascension here. We could describe it as the ‘physical, psychological and spiritual patterns/ dynamics of the Ascension process’. Because the ‘Ascension of the Stairway to Heaven’ is a rare, but universal attribute of the psycho-spiritual development of humans, all cultures, religions and times that have been blessed with nurturing the creation of Self-Realized beings, have their own interpretation and terminology to explain ’The Way’ to repeat the experience for others to follow. However, in essence, as discussed before, the many varied and unique paths in the religious folklore and testimonies found within all these times and places, are really seen as the One Way by those who have mastered it. And so, there is your first paradox to fathom and unravel.
I am hoping you already see where we are headed? The Chakras are not just ‘energy centers’ in the body, with particular colors, shapes, and locations. Our goal is not to lock them into the right luminescence, color and aperture. In fact, it is best to forget everything you think you know about the Chakra and the Chakra System. Start ‘rasa blanc’; as fresh and innocent as a clean, blank slate, with no preconceived notions and ideas. Follow the Right Approach Sutras, meditate on them for insight, and if you are a sincerely proselyte, clues will appear before you. Focus on your own assumptions about the world view you live in. On this journey, all your assumptions about everything and anything will be revealed, dashed, and replaced many times. At least 14 times, to be exact, according to eastern philosophy and religion, and according to my own Knowledge and experience.
Part (2) will cover the cognitive-behavioral patterns and dynamics of the Chakra System, how it is related to your world view and soul maturation, how it is related to Kundalini Yoga, True Baptism, Born-Again Christianity, self-healing and spiritual path-work, who can see them and how, and how best to support optimum ’health’ of your Chakras. This will be a very illuminating and practical discourse on the 7 Chakra Model of human psycho-spiritual stages of growth & development.
